Metering

To accurately measure what your f stop (aperture width) should be when your shutter-speed is set on 1/125 and your ISO is set on 400, you can either use a lighting meter device, or by reaching '0' on the ruler-looking line on your camera. This line is the in-built lighting meter in your camera.

To test out the accuracy, we went outside and stood in different lighting, measured the light, and then shot the pictures:
